It's the end of Bachelor in Paradise! Wes is largely disappointed, Alex is largely glad she gets a break until January, and everyone agrees this was a pretty disappointing season of television. Ah, well. There's always January...

On the 15th inaugural episode of What the Bach? the podcast where one roommate makes the other roommate listen to recaps of a show she doesn't watch, we discuss the dredges of Bachelor in Paradise, Deenie Weenie, and the show's complete inability to talk about anything substantial without royally messing it up.

This week on BiP, the drama llama paid a visit and Wes was content with that. We continued to rehash the problematic way the shutdown has and continues to be handled, and everyone loses. Particularly Alex, who was not inebriated enough for this.

This is What the Bach?

Wes hates the new format of the show and breaks down why, Alex just hates reality TV, DeMario has things to say, and hearts are broken. This is What the Bach?

Bachelor in Paradise started. Wes recounts four excruciating hours to Alex, which covers The Controversy, a wedding, a poorly conducted sexual harassment seminar, and had no rose ceremonies.

Wes was disappointed by this season and the final episode. Alex was excited this was the end until she realized it was not. But you should all read this bonkers true life story, with picture: http://www.cosmopolitan.com.au/lifestyle/man-books-six-dates-on-the-same-night-23586

Wes recounts the rousing episode that was all the men kicked off the island sitting around having a bitch and stitch. Lee is still racist. Alex continues to be amazed at how much time this franchise takes up.

This episode of the Bachelorette took 4 hours to watch, and 5 hours to talk about, and Alex is ready to do ANYTHING ELSE with her life. Wes is still mystified by the editing situation.

Hometowns fly by, the cats are out, and Alex needs to remember to stop making faces when Wes says something horrifying because that doesn't translate well as audio.

In which we establish the futility of naming fake people on TV, Rachel doesn't have a rose ceremony, and Alex almost has enough booze to make it to the end of Wes's recap.

take it with you

Iphone_trans Listening to podcasts on your mobile devices is extremely convenient -- and it's what makes the podcasting medium so powerful.

You can take your favorite shows and mixes with you anywhere, but to do so requires some quick and simple steps.

Let's walk you through that process together.
step 1:

Click the "Subscribe With iTunes" link in the page's sidebar:

Subscribe_with_itunes

This will require that you have the iTunes software on your computer.

(You can download iTunes here.)
step 2:
Itunes_ss

Now that you've subscribed to the podcast on iTunes, the feed will display in your "Podcasts" section on the left navigation bar.

Click there and you'll see the show displayed in the iTunes browser.

You can "get all" to download all available episodes or just individual episodes.
step 3:

Plug your mobile device (iPhone, iPad, iPod) into your computer with the Dock Connector cable, and click the device in iTunes's left navigation bar.

Itunes_ss2

Once you have your device highlighted, click "Podcasts" in the top navigation bar and sync the podcasts you want on your device. Click "apply" and the episodes you have downloaded on your iTunes software will sync with your device.
that's it!

The beauty of this process is that now, every new episode of your subscribed podcasts will automatically sync to your device every time you plug it in and open iTunes. You can now take your favorite shows with you everywhere you go.

Enjoy!
